Basic everyday care
- During your daily routine of getting ready, see your jewelry as the cherry on top and put it on last, even after putting on body lotion, hairspray or your signature scent.
- Â When undressing, wipe it with a clean soft cloth to remove oils and perspiration and if not worn store it in a cool, dry place in a fabric lined box or another air tight container.
- Avoid to wear jewelry when doing physical work, like housekeeping, gardening or exercising.
- Try not to expose jewelry to household cleaning products, as they can contain chlorine bleach and take it off before going swimming in chlorine or salt water.

Silver
Normally silver tarnishes quite quickly when it comes into contact with oxygen or sulfur, to prevent that from happening our sterling silver is either rhodium or platinum plated. Just our whitened pieces are left in their natural state, because they would loose their extraordinary colour if coated.Â
Naturally the rhodium or platinum coat can wear off over time, if this happens, the best measures to prevent silver from tarnishing, is to wear it often, because the oils in your skin prevent tarnish.
To maintain the original condition of your silver jewelry, polish your pieces regularly using a non-abrasive cleaning cloth or a jewelry polishing cloth, you can get at any drugstor.

Plated silver
Our plated jewelry is plated over sterling silver, this is a great alternative if you aren’t ready yet to invest in a real gold piece but love the colour of yellow or rose gold or if you adore blackened pieces. Over time the gold layer will wear away.
We like to think, that when we wear a piece of jewelry it becomes a part of us and as we change, our jewelry changes with us, so this wearing away of the gold will unfold new extraordinary patinas, however, we will of course re-plate your jewelry if you wish.Â

Gemstones
Every gemstone has different needs, that is why we recommend you to bring us your piece of jewelry with a gemstone once per year for a check up and deep cleaning or ask us for cleaning instructions.
